The BTB20th6 is a six string BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2019. It was made in Indonesia as part of the Standard line and was released as a limited model to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the BTB series.
The BTB20th6 features neck through body construction with a flamed maple top and mahogany back on ash wings attached to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Nordstrand Big Single passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, stainless steel frets including a zero fret, Mono-rail bridges with 17mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
The BTB20th5 is a five string version.
The BTB20th6 was offered only in 2019.
