Musical Instrument Valuations
Promenade Music offer a valuation service for musical instruments and music related equipment.
Firstly, please read the following important information: Promenade Music Limited give no warranty to the value of goods, and will not be held responsible or liable for any loss claimed having arisen as a result of reliance upon our opinion.
What Valuation Services Can Promenade Music Offer?
(1) We are able to give an opinion to the value of a musical instruments current replacement value , or equivalent replacement should your instrument or equipment no longer be a current model.
(2) Should you wish to sell an instrument and are unsure of the current value, we can assess the instrument and give an opinion as to a guide price in the current market.
(3) If you need to make a probate application, we can offer a written opinion to the valuation of musical instruments and equipment as part to value an estate for probate.
(4) If you need a valuation for insurance reasons, we can offer a written opinion to the valuation of musical instruments and equipment as part of the process of either getting insurance, maintaining insurance, or claiming on an insurance policy. As a sign of goodwill, for valuations for insurance purposes, the valuation cost of an item will be deducted from the price of a replacement item if bought from Promenade at the point of purchase.
Verbal Valuation Options
Verbal Valuation Option 1
If the item / items are brought into Promenade Music by prior arrangement. We charge £20.00 inc VAT for first item to be valued and then £10.00 for each subsequent instrument. [Therefore, if you have 3 instruments, the cost is £20.00 + £10.00 + £10.00 = £40.00 inc VAT]
Verbal Valuation Option 2
If the item / items are at a location away from Promenade Music by prior arrangement. We charge….
– Up to 12 miles round trip from LA4 5AR: £100.00 including VAT for first item and then £10.00 for each subsequent item.
– Up to 25 miles round trip from LA4 5AR: £140.00 including VAT for first item and £10.00 for each subsequent item.
– Up to 50 miles round trip from LA4 5AR: £180.00 including VAT for first item and £10.00 for each subsequent item.
– Up to 75 miles round trip from LA4 5AR: £220.00 including VAT for first item and then £10.00 for each subsequent item.
– Up to 100 miles round trip from LA4 5AR: £260.00 including VAT for first item and then £10.00 for each subsequent item.
Written Valuation Options
Written Valuation Option 1
If the item / items are brought into Promenade Music by prior arrangement. We charge £40.00 inc VAT for first item to be valued and then £15.00 for each subsequent instrument. [Therefore, if you have 3 instruments, the cost is £40.00 + £15.00 + £15.00 = £40.00 inc VAT]
Written Valuation Option 2
If the item / items are at a location away from Promenade Music and we attend the location. We charge….
– Up to 12 miles round trip from LA4 5AR: £120.00 including VAT for first item and then £15.00 for each subsequent item.
– Up to 25 miles round trip from LA4 5AR: £160.00 including VAT for first item and £15.00 for each subsequent item.
– Up to 50 miles round trip from LA4 5AR: £200.00 including VAT for first item and £15.00 for each subsequent item.
– Up to 75 miles round trip from LA4 5AR: £240.00 including VAT for first item and then £15.00 for each subsequent item.
– Up to 100 miles round trip from LA4 5AR: £280.00 including VAT for first item and then £15.00 for each subsequent item.
